Parent PLUS loans allow parents or legal guardians of dependent undergraduate students to borrow additional funds when Stafford loan limits are not enough to cover the cost of attendance. Parents or legal guardians must be members of ELFCU and the dependent undergraduate student must be enrolled in school at least half-time in an eligible program. This is a credit based loan.
The Free Application for Federal Student Aid (FAFSA) is always recommended but not always required. Parents or legal guardians will need to verify FAFSA requirements with each individual school. Lets parents borrow for post-secondary education of dependent children.
Graduate/Professional PLUS Loans - Apply Now!
Graduate PLUS loans allow graduate and professional students to borrow additional funds when Stafford loan limits are not enough to cover the cost of attendance. The graduate or professional student must be a member of ELFCU and enrolled in school at least half-time in an eligible program. This is a credit based loan. The FAFSA is required for the Graduate PLUS loan.
