State Energy Tax Credits - Now is the Time

If you're a Hoosier, there's never been a better time to upgrade your HVAC system. The Indiana Heating and Cooling Incentive Program (IHIP) will provide rebates for the purchase and installation of Energy Star Rated furnaces, boilers, central air conditioners and heat pumps. The rebates range from $150 to $1,000 (see listing below). Indiana received $6.1 million for this program, which will remain active as long as there are funds to distribute.
If you'll be in your home for a while and you want to make improvements for yourself, or if your home could use some updating to make it more appealing to buyers, ELFCU has loan products to meet your needs.
Combined with federal energy tax incentives and related utility cost savings, the new state rebates will make the purchase of a higher efficiency system an attractive investment for many Indiana homeowners.
IHIP is the Indiana program that is part of the federal State Energy Efficiency Appliance Rebate Program (SEEARP). This program will compliment the rebate or incentive programs already in place through many of Indiana's utility companies.
