ELFCU Named to Best Places to Work in Indiana

Published: Tuesday, February 21, 2012 7:00 am

For the third year in a row, ELFCU has been honored with a “Best Places to Work in Indiana” award presented to employers who create a productive environment in which employees feel valued. The top companies in the state are determined through employer reports and comprehensive employee surveys. Winners were selected from two categories: small to medium-sized companies of between 15 and 249 U.S. employees, and large-sized companies consisting of 250 or more employees nationwide. Out-of-state parent companies were eligible to participate if at least 15 full-time employees are in Indiana. ELFCU joins 38 other companies in the small-to-medium sized companies category.

"Best Places to Work in Indiana not only recognizes our state's outstanding employers, but also sets a high standard for other Hoosier companies by encouraging them to realize the importance of evaluating their own workplace," states Indiana Chamber President Kevin Brinegar. "It is clear that a positive work environment makes employees more engaged in their job and in their company, which is a win for the entire business community."

Congratulations ELFCU employees - and thanks to our members, who make ELFCU a great place to work!

@Jerry: The news article on our website refers to Eli Lilly Federal Credit Union specifically rather than Eli Lilly and Company. We are a separate entity from the corporation but proud to serve the financial needs of its employees and retirees since 1930.

Maybe for the employees but not for their retirees!!!
We had to pay out over $10,000 in medical bills this year. Anthem BCBS didn't pay a dime, except towards our RX's. All this because Lilly's raised our OOP from $1450 to $5000/year. There's $3550 right out of OUR pockets plus all the bills WE had to pay. Not the same company any more.
